Mr. Vermette joined Oaktree in May 2007.
Prior to that, he was with Countrywide Securities Corporation, where he spent over eight years as Senior Database Administrator and Senior Vice President of Information Technology.
While at Countrywide, he managed the Database Administration group which was responsible for the installation, administration and support for production, development, quality assurance and disaster recovery database systems.
Before that, Mr. Vermette spent one year at Newspaper Technologies, Inc. as a Database Administrator.
His prior experience includes work in Information Technology at TransEnergy Management Inc., BMP Energy Systems Limited, Credit Union Central Alberta Ltd.
and Clinicare Corporation.
Mr. Vermette received a BS degree in Computer Information Systems cum laude from the DeVry Institute of Technology.
