Mr. Cornelius T.
Ryan co-founded Oxford Bioscience Partners in 1992.
Earlier, he was the co-founder and was President of Randolph Computer Corporation (RCC), an American Stock Exchange (ASE) listed company focused on computer software and venture leasing which then merged into the Travelers Corp., now part of CitiGroup.
Following RCC, he was President of the General Telephone and Electronics (GTE) New Venture Corporation as well as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning.
As a Senior Consultant at Arthur D.
Little, Inc., he founded the Healthcare and Medical Device Information Services both for Wall Street and industry clients.
Following that he was an Investment Banker and managed Eastman Dillon’s Technology Research Group.
Mr. Ryan has served on Neuberger Berman’s Mutual Funds Board of Directors since 1985.
In the community, he served on the Norwalk Hospital Board and is actively involved as a trustee of the Norwalk Hospital Foundation Board, which is affiliated with Yale University.
He serves as an advisor to Drug Royalty, a Toronto based company.
He was formally on 7 Oxford Portfolio boards.
He is also a judge for the Wharton Business Plan Competition, an annual event administered by the Wharton Entrepreneurial Program.
He was the founding Chairman of the Healthcare Venture Investors Group.
He is a former member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and is currently active in the World Presidents Organization (WPO).
Mr. Ryan received his BA from the University of Ottawa, Canada and his MBA (Honors) from the Wharton Graduate School of Business.
