David Hunter

David Hunter joined NESTA in 2006.
He oversees all aspects of investment activity.
This means generating and evaluating investment proposals, completing investments, working with portfolio companies, and funding partnerships to support NESTA's network of business mentors.
Before joining NESTA, Mr. Hunter was an adviser for Partnerships UK, where he oversaw their equity investment business relating to commercialisation of public assets and IP.
Previously he was Managing Director of the Investment Management Group at 3i Group Plc, where he held a number of investment roles over 20 years.
He is a member of the Bridges Ventures Investment Committee and is Finance Committee Chairman for the University College for the Creative Arts.
