David Jerit Hansen

Mr. David J.
Hansen is Principal & Portfolio Manager at Davidson & Garrard, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing firm's office and is a member of the firm's Asset Allocation Committee.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of CornerStone Bank, where he chairs the Nomination and Compensation Committee, and serves on the Audit and Asset and Liability Committees.
Dave also serves on the Vestry at R.E.
Lee Episcopal Church, and is a member of the Finance Committee.
Prior to joining Davidson & Garrard in October 2009, Mr. Hansen founded an investment partnership focusing on special situations and was a founder of CornerStone Bank, N.A., a community bank in Lexington, Virginia.
Prior to moving to Lexington, he served as General Counsel of the publicly-traded Magellan Health Services in Atlanta, Georgia.
Prior to working with Magellan, he was General Counsel of a start-up healthcare company.
He began in the private practice of law with Alston & Bird and worked in Australia with King & Wood Mallesons.
He is a past President of the Rockbridge Area Free Clinic.
He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and a graduate degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
