David Stern

David Stern (New York) joined KKR in 2021 and is the Firm’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Prior to joining KKR, he was CISO at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was responsible for all aspects of the information security program across their global footprint of investment banking, inter-dealer broker, commercial real estate, fintech and insurance businesses.
Prior to Cantor, Mr. Stern was head of security architecture and application security at the NY Stock Exchange / Intercontinental Exchange.
Mr. Stern has held several other roles including head of security architecture, engineering and operations for the City of New York and a number of principal consulting roles.
Mr. Stern holds a BS in Computer Science from Polytechnic University.
