Mr. Porter joined Acadia Trust in August of 2009.
He has worked as an investment analyst at various investment firms throughout the country.
In his role as Assistant Vice President, Assistant Portfolio Manager, he assists the portfolio managers with stock and bond portfolio management and trading.
He participates in the investment committee meetings and prepares various reports for review by the investment team.
Mr. Porter earned his B.S.
in Business Administration from the Honors College at the College of Charleston where he was a member of the crew team and graduated magna cum laude with a MBA degree from Babson College.
He was selected as one of fourteen graduate students by finance faculty members to participate in the Finance Immersion Program.
He is a level III CFA candidate and an affiliate member of the Maine CFA Society and the CFA Institute.
