Ed G. Fisher

Prior to founding SouthPointe in 2003, Mr. Edmond Fisher has been involved as a principal, financier and investment banker in small and middle-market companies since 1985, all in the Southeastern US.
Prior to SouthPointe, he was a Partner with EGL Holdings, Inc. Before EGL, Mr. Fisher was a portfolio partner for Atlanta-based Prometheus Partners.
Before joining Prometheus in mid-1998, he was CFO and VP of Sales for Big A Distributors.
Prior to Big A, he was the CFO for the 3rd-largest Wendy's restaurant franchisee in the US.
From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Fisher was a managing partner of a boutique merchant banking firm, Phoenix Capital Group.
Before joining Phoenix Capital Group, Mr. Fisher was a commercial banker with First Union National Bank and C&S Bank (now Bank of America), responsible for credit analysis, underwriting and loan approval in the north Georgia region from 1984 to 1989.
Mr. Fisher graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in finance in 1983.
He is the 2007-'08 President of ACG Atlanta, a director at The Study Hall, sits on the parish council and finance council of the Cathedral of Christ the King, and is a member of the Notre Dame Club of Atlanta, Irish Angels venture capital society, and a member of the Atlanta Venture Forum.
