Mr. Edouard Caram joined Sofinnova Partners as analyst in Life Science in November 2007.
Prior to that, he was the European Marketing Manager of PDL BioPharma, a Silicon based Biopharmaceutical Company dedicated to the discovery, development and marketing of Humanized Monoclonal Antibodies for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Solid Tumour and Multiple Myeloma.
Mr. Caram started his career as Manager in Business Development (licensing and acquisition) at Janssen-Cilag (Johnson and Johnson), with a particular emphasis on two growing franchises: Metabolism (diabetes/ obesity) and Virology.
Edouard holds a Master of Biochemistry (University Paris VII), a MBA from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires in Beirut (ESCP-EAP), a Master of Finance from Institut d’Etudes Politique de Paris (Sciences-Po) and Executive Education programs from The Wharton School.
