Mr. Edwin Datson is Venture Partner at Phoenix Strategy Investments LLC.
In 2000, Mr. Datson was one of four founders of Bain Capital Europe where he had particular responsibility for investments in Telecom and technology companies.
In 1997, he joined Morgan Stanley in M&A then subsequently set up and lead the business development group for Financial sponsors, originating over $1bn of transactions for the firm.
Mr. Datson started his career in strategy consulting with Monitor Company in London and Boston, spending 5 years working in industries from coalmines to soft drinks but focusing mainly on Telecom.
Mr. Datson holds an MA in Literature from Oxford and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker scholar.
