Spreng is an Investment Manager at Redmayne-Bentley LLP.
In 1999, he opened a branch for Redmayne-Bentley back in his home town of Dunfermline.
After ten successful years in Dunfermline, the decision was made to amalgamate the Dunfermline and Perth branches and the merged branch was to operate from Perth.
He is currently the branch manager of the Perth branch and concentrates largely on serving his bank of discretionary and advisory clients.
Mr. Spreng began his career in stockbroking in February 1978 when he joined the Edinburgh firm of Wishart, Brodie & Co and later that year he moved to the small Dunfermline firm of Torrie & Co, where he was to remain for the next 20 years.
He was appointed as Office Manager at Torrie & Co in 1980 and the firm subsequently moved to Edinburgh in 1982.
In 1984, he was elected as a member of The Stock Exchange and he was made a Partner of the firm in 1989.
Mr. Spreng is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager.
