Gaurav Kapoor

Gaurav leads fintech venture creation at Diagram.
He is a fintech leader and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in financial services and technology.
Gaurav’s experience spans both growing businesses in big banks and launching companies from scratch.
Before joining Diagram, Gaurav co-founded and led Mydoh, a neo-bank for kids and parents in Canada.
Over the course of his 10-year career at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), he held various senior positions, most notably working as a General Manager at RBC Ventures, where he launched and managed a portfolio of direct-to-consumer businesses.
He also developed several tech-enabled products, including Nomi, which leveraged AI and data to enhance customer experience and financial outcomes.
Prior to fintech, Gaurav worked in consumer banking, investment banking, and wealth management.
Gaurav holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and a BComm (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce at the University of Delhi.
