Gavin Muranaka

Mr. Muranaka joined VenGrowth Capital Partners Inc. in 2000 and has spent a number of years in the venture capital industry working with investee companies to identify, and capitalize on, high growth opportunities.
Since joining VenGrowth, Mr. Muranaka's areas of focus include wireless communications, software companies and special situation growth opportunities.
Prior to joining VenGrowth, Mr. Muranaka was a Director at another venture capital firm where he had a similar focus.
Mr. Muranaka understands the needs of emerging, high growth companies and looks to foster strong, trusting relationships, through which he is a real partner and resource to management teams.
Mr. Muranaka has been involved with over 10 companies in the past, assessing strategy, assessing new business opportunities, raising financing, rounding out management teams and helping to lay the corporate foundations necessary for companies to succeed.
Mr. Muranaka draws from an extensive network of contacts and has worked with a variety of companies at different stages of growth.
Mr. Muranaka is a Chartered Acountant (CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) from Queen's University.
He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
