George Li

Mr. Li is one of the most experienced and successful fund managers in China, with fourteen years of investment experience.
He co-founded China Merchants & Fortune Assets Management Ltd (the management company of Fund I) in 2001 and served as its President and Director.
Prior to that, Mr. Li was the Vice president of China Merchants Technology Holdings Co. in Hong Kong, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Merchants Group focusing on technology related investment and assets management of the Group.
He was in charge of operations, investments and post management of portfolio companies in Hong Kong and China with assets value over HK$1bil.
Before that, Mr. Li was the Deputy General Manager, Business Management Division of China Merchants Group in Hong Kong, in charge of direct investment of the Group in both Hong Kong and China, achieving 17% IRR on HK$530m investments.
Mr. Li graduated from Sichuan University, China and received his MBA from Arizona State University in USA.
