George Woo

George joined the OMERS Infrastructure team in 2014, and is involved in the origination, evaluation and execution of new investments across a variety of infrastructure subsectors in the Americas.
He served on the team that successfully completed the acquisition of a stake in the Chicago Skyway in 2016.
George is also involved in the asset management of OMERS Infrastructure’s portfolio companies in North America, which have included existing investments in the transportation and energy sectors.
Prior to joining OMERS Infrastructure, George was part of Canaccord Genuity’s Investment Banking team in Toronto, where he focused on M&A and corporate finance advisory in the metals and mining sector.
He began his career at Deloitte in their Assurance & Advisory practice.
George holds a BBA degree from the University of Toronto and is a CPA, CA.
