Gokturk Isikpinar

Mr. Gokturk Isikpinar is a Managing Director of Equities at AK Asset Management AS.
He is also an Executive Vice President responsible for Local & Global Equity, Research, Private Equity and Real Estate since January 2011.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a trainee in Kleinwort Benson/UK Emerging Equity Desk in 1993.
He joined DIS Securities Research Team in 2000 and worked as a sell-side Research Analyst for three years.
In 2003 he joined DIS Asset Management as a buy-side Research Analyst.
He worked as an equity fund manager between 2003 to 2006 in Fortis Portföy and served as the CIO of Turkish Equities until 2011.
He was responsible of providing research to international funds of Fortis Investments (BNPP IP) including BNP Paribas L1 Equity Turkey, Emerging European Equities incorporated in Luxembourg and Turkish Equities domicile in Japan, developed several private equity projects in health industry.
He received his B.Sc.
in Economics from University of London in 1996 and completed Middle East Studies Certificate Program from Galatasaray University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2005.
