Henri Tchen

Mr. Henri Tchen is an Advisor at Harbor Pacific Capital LLC.
In addition to his current role at Harbor Pacific Capital, Mr.Tchen is co-founder of Synapse Capital LLC, a management and advisory firm engaged in private equity investments in medical technology, biotech, cleantech, and oil & gas.
He has been a Director of Bioscrypt, Inc. since 2002 and is a Director of Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. From 1994 to 1998, Mr.Tchen was the first CFO of Kingston Technology Company where he negotiated the sale of 80 percentage of the company to Softbank Corporation for 1.9 billion dollar for its two founders in 1996 and its buy back from Softbank for 450 million dollar three years later.
From 1989 to 1994, he was the Director of Strategic Planning and Real Estate for Dah Chong Hong Group, a real estate and mega-auto dealer based in New York.
The company was a subsidiary of the Hang Chong Group in Hong Kong which was bought by CITIC Pacific.
Mr. Tchen holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Economics from the University of Brussels, Belgium, where he graduated summa cum laude and a MBA from Columbia University
