Jacobs is General Counsel at Ampersand Ventures.
He joined Ampersand in 2005.
From 2001 to 2005 he was Vice President and General Counsel of ArQule, where he participated in the acquisition of Cyclis.
Previously, he served as Senior Counsel in the Biomedical Services division of the American Red Cross in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining the Red Cross, he practiced in the fields of tax and international transactions at the law firms of Kramer, Levin, Nessen & Frankel in New York City and Shimron, Molcho & Persky in Jerusalem.
Mr. Jacobs holds a BA from Columbia College, an MA from the Jewish Theological Seminary and a JD from Columbia Law School.
