Mr. Tannon helps lead the private equity and energy practices at DLA Piper, one of the world's largest law firms.
Mr. Tannon counsels private equity funds and other businesses on acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
Mr. Tannon has been selected for many years by the legal services industry publication "Best Lawyers in America".
Prior to joining DLA Piper, he held leadership positions at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP and Frost Brown Todd LLC.
Among his academic accomplishments, he received his law degree from the University of Virginia and a BA from the University of North Carolina.
