Jeff Kowalak

Jeff Kowalak is an associate analyst in the financial services group at FBR, focusing his efforts on super-regional and trust banks.
Prior to joining FBR in November 2001, Mr. Kowalak was employed for more than five years as a bank examiner and policy analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
In that capacity, he specialized in the analysis of risk management practices at large banking organizations and provided research support on emerging regulatory policy issues.
Mr. Kowalak received his B.S.
in finance from Seton Hall University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University.
In addition, he received the CFA designation in October 2001, and is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research.
