Joana Silva

Dr. Joana Silva is a Senior Economist at The World Bank.
She is on the Board of Directors at The Latin American & Caribbean Economic Association, Inc. Prior to joining the World Bank, she also worked for the Globalization and Economic Policy Research Center at the University of Nottingham and the Inter-American Development Bank.
She received her undergraduate degree from Faculdade De Economia Da Universidade Do Porto, a graduate degree from the University of Minho and a doctorate degree from The University of Nottingham.
