John R. Tellmann

John R.
Tellmann assumed the position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing on July 30, 2004.
Prior to his present appointment with Foundation, Tellmann served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing of RAG American Coal Holding, Inc. since 2000.
From 1993 to 2000, Tellmann was President of James River Coal Sales, Inc. Prior to that, Tellmann held various management and leadership positions in sales, marketing and acquisitions at Mapco Coal, Inc., Westmoreland Coal Company and Union Electric Company (now known as Ameren Corporation).
Tellmann earned a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
In addition, Tellmann also is a member of the National Mining Association and The American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
