Morpol ASA engages in processing and supplying of smoked and marinated salmon, and other fish species. The company through its subsidiaries engages in the fish farming, fish processing as well as sale and distribution of finished salmon products. It operates through three business segments Fish Farming Salmon, Fish Farming Other Species, and Fish Processing. The Fish Farming Salmon segment involves the breeding and on-growing of salmon, as well as slaughtering, processing, sale and distribution of these. The Fish Farming Other Species segment includes the activity in Vietnam and Belize. The Fish processing segment includes processing and preserving of fish and other fishery products and distribution and sale of these. The company was founded by Jerzy Ryszard Malek in 2010 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
