Katarzyna Sidlo

Dr. Katarzyna Sidlo is at Director Centrum Analiz Spoleczno-Ekonomicznych.
Dr. Sidlo is an Arabist and economist specializing in the political economy of the broadly understood MENA region, with a specific focus on the EU Southern Neighbourhood.
She has been working with CASE since 2013.
Dr. Sidlo gained her professional and research experience in a number of countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the United Kingdom and Poland.
She worked as a leader or member of a research team in projects commissioned by various donors, such as the European Commission, Committee of the Regions, European Space Agency or European Investment Bank.
She is an Author of numerous publications that have been published or are pending publication at prestigious houses and institutions, such as the University of Cambridge and Routledge.
Dr. Sidlo holds a BSc in Finance and Banking Faculty of Economic Sciences from the University of Warsaw in 2008 to 2011, earned her MA in Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, from the University of Warsaw in 2006 to 2011.
She also holds a PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance, Faculty of Oriental Studies from the University of Warsaw in 2011 to 2017.
