The firm was founded in 1970 as Deutsche Gesellschaft für Investment-Fonds GmbH and was rebranded as Union Investment Institutional GmbH in 2002. Headquartered in Frankfurt, the firm was founded in 1870 and offers FX Prime Brokerage (FXPB) which enables clients to transact foreign exchange across an array of dealers utilizing Deutsche Bank credit lines to maintain anonymity, maximize operational and margin efficiency and reduce transactional costs.
