Aging Services of California, also known as LeadingAge, is a nonprofit association established in 1961 that advocates for quality senior living and care across the state. The private company is based in Sacramento, CA. Representing over 800 members, including nonprofit and for-profit senior communities, service providers, and educational institutions, the organization supports providers serving more than 120,000 older adults. Its mission includes advancing housing, care, and services such as affordable housing, life plan communities, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and home- and community-based care. The association offers resources like public policy advocacy, education and training programs, leadership development, and a career center. Member services include a buyer’s guide, endorsed service providers, group purchasing, insurance and risk management, and grant discovery.
