Laura F. Merin

Ms. Laura Merin is a Research Analyst at KLD Research & Analytics, Inc. Before joining KLD as a Research Analyst, she served as an intern for the Sudan and Iran Divestment Products.
She also interned at the Massachusetts and Eastern Regional Offices of The Nature Conservancy, focusing on government relations and water policy.
She co-authored Fresh Water Vision, a comprehensive study of water management practices of the New England states.
Ms. Merin is a member of the Simmons College Success Connection, a selective mentoring program, and the Boston Chapter of Net Impact.
Ms. Merin earned a BA in Economics and Environmental Policy from Simmons College, with minors in Public Policy and Photography.
Her senior thesis analyzed the validity of the Environmental Kuznets Curve as a tool for measuring the impact of development on ecosystems.
She is also a candidate for Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
