Lucian L.
Leape is a Trustee of Cambridge Public Health Commission and an Adjunct Professor of Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Prior to joining the Harvard School of Public Health, he was Professor of Surgery and Chief of Pediatric Surgery at the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Tufts-New England Medical Center.
Dr. Leape is Founder of the National Patient Safety Foundation and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Prevention of Medical Errors.
He was a Lead Investigator of the Harvard Medical Practice Study.
Dr. Leape received his degrees from Cornell University and the Harvard Medical School.
He holds an MD degree.
