Marie Polge

Marie joined Inside in October 2022 as a Principal and brings over 15 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance and investment both in the private sector and the development finance institution world.
She started her career in 2005 in Paris as consultant at KPMG Corporate Finance and joined Lagardère Group in 2011.
There, she led the M&A operations, orchestrating multiple transactions (c.10 to 12 per year on EV targets from €1m to €230 m) across a wide variety of sectors (travel retail, distribution, publishing, sports, etc.), working closely with the stewardship of the Group.
Driven by her wish to make impactful investments, Marie then joined the Private Equity team of BIO (the Belgian Development Finance Institution) in 2017, structuring and managing direct and indirect equity investments, mainly across Africa and India, which helped her understand of the needs of institutional LPs.
Marie holds a MsC in Finance from HEC Paris, France and a MsC in Intermational Management from CEMS, Europe.
