Mr. Mark Evans is the Managing Director for the Americas for at Royal Bank of Canada Investment Management Ltd.
He has overall responsibility for the US, Canadian, Latin American and Caribbean client base of RBC’s UK team.
He served as Head of Private Banking for RBC in the British Isles with teams in London, Jersey and Guernsey before being appointed Managing Director, Americas and serving on RBC’s UK leadership team in 2010.
He joined RBC from Merrill Lynch in 2002 where he worked as a Vice President & Private Banker.
His initial focus with RBS was to develop new business for the bank and, in particular, to deepen the relationship with RBC’s trust company.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, he worked for 7 years at a privately-owned wealth management consultancy in Bristol from 1980.
He also spent time working for ED&F Man as the Director of Marketing.
Prior to ED&F, he worked GNI Limited to work in the futures and options market, running the sales and marketing team.
Mr. Evans gained investment experience working at the International Money Market in Chicago.
