Michael Klose

Mr. Michael Klose, CFA MBA, is a Chairman at Fontavis AG, and a CEO of Third Party Asset Management at Swiss Life Asset Management AG.
He worked at Swiss Life from 2007 to 2011, where he started out as the head of the Corporate Bond team responsible for the investment business of the Group's own insurance companies before eventually taking over as head of the Fixed Income investment business for third-party clients.
In 2015, he was appointed Country Head CH & DE of the third-party asset management business of Swiss Life Asset Managers.
In 2017 Michael Klose became CEO of Third-Party Asset Management with responsibility for Switzerland, France, and Germany.
He is also a member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Life Asset Managers.
He began his career in 2000 in the same city at the Bayerische Landesbank, where he spent three years as a Senior Investment Analyst in Fixed Income Research.
He then moved, in 2004, to the Winterthur Insurance Group, as Senior Portfolio Manager for the Fixed Income area.
Mr. Klose is a trained banker who holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and is a member of the Swiss CFA Society.
