Nicholas Ng

Mr. Nicholas Ng is Chief Executive Officer at Meridian Asset Management Sdn.
Bhd.
and a Fund Manager at MAAKL Mutual Bhd.
Following a brief period with Price Waterhouse, he joined Hongkong Bank Asset Management (formerly known as Wardley Investment Services (Singapore) Limited) in 1987, and later with Merrill Lynch Mercury Asset Management (formerly known as Warburg Asset Management) in London in 1990.
After two years in London, Mr. Ng was seconded to its subsidiary company in Singapore as Assistant Director.
Apart from supervising the fund management operation in Singapore and monitoring the Pacific (ex-Japan) stock markets, he was directly responsible for managing assets exceeding US$500 million in the region for unit trusts, Tokkin funds, pension, quasi-government and institutional accounts.
Mr. Ng was responsible for managing the Wardley Singapore/Malaysia Growth Trust Fund.
Mr. Ng is a licensed Fund Manager under the Securities Industry Act 1983 since September 1994 and graduated from the University of Surrey, England, with a BSc (Honours) in Economics.
He is a qualified Certified Financial Planner and also one of the co-founders of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia, which is licensed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (the USA).
