Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA (Investment Management) (Lombard Odier-IM) is the investment management division of Banque Lombard Odier & Cie, a subsidiary of Compagnie Lombard Odier SCmA in Switzerland. The firm was founded in 2002 when Lombard Odier & Cie and Darier Hentsch & Cie. merged. HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA (HSBC-PBS) is a subsidiary of HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Suisse) SA, which in turn is a subsidiary of London-based HSBC Holdings Plc (LSE: HSBA; NYSE: HBC). HSBC-PBS was incorporated in 2001 as HSBC's private banking operations were undergoing reorganization. The bank was previously known as HSBC Republic Bank (Suisse) and originated in 1999. In 2009 the firm absorbed the activities of HSBC Guyerzeller Bank SA. HSBC-PBS is headquartered in Geneva with domestic branches in Lugano and Zurich as well as a seasonal office in St Moritz. The bank also carries out market transactions, grants Lombard credits and participates in settlement operations for the parent group.
