Nicki Ashton

Ms. Nicki Ashton is a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Ecofin Australia Pty Ltd.
She joined Ecofin in December 2011 and has over 16 years of experience across equity and derivative markets globally.
She was a Portfolio Manager and co-founder of Change Investment Management, managing a specialist thematic equities product focused on climate change investment opportunities.
Prior to Change IM, she worked as Marketing Director for a clean energy thematic fund where her duties also included Research, Analytics and Portfolio Management.
She was a former Director of Citigroup where she specialised in risk arbitrage equity and equity derivative trading strategies.
She also worked in New York for BNP Paribas for four years as a European Equity sales person, and at Deutsche Bank Sydney as Head of Warrant trading and sales.
Ms. Ashton has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Politics from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
