Otshepeng Sokhela

Ms. Otshepeng Sokhela is Portfolio Risk Manager at Novare Investments (Pty) Ltd.
She started her career at Alexander Forbes Financial Services as an actuarial analyst and was promoted internally at the end of 2006 to senior actuarial analyst.
In May of 2008 Otshepeng moved to Stanlib Asset Management in the capacity of portfolio executive, where she was responsible for Africa and Durban support and worked closely with consultants and fund managers focusing on Africa wide portfolios.
Following a decision to relocate to Cape Town, she joined Novare in May 2011 as an investment analyst and was promoted to portfolio risk manager in July 2012 in the funds of hedge funds team.
She has five years’ experience in the industry.
Ms. Sokhela completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2005.
