Dr. Pascal D.
Köppel is a Chief Investment Officer at Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers AG.
In October 2005, he was appointed as Head Investment Management of Swiss Financial Advisers (acquired from UBS by Vontobel Holding AG in 2022).
Dr. Köppel and his teams are responsible for the discretionary portfolio management, selection of suitable investment vehicles and development of specific client solutions as well as the investment advisory mandates.
Further, he is the Chief Investment Officer of SFA and member of the Management Committee.
Before joining UBS Swiss Financial Advisers, Dr. Köppel served as Head Active Advisory at UBS AG Zurich from 2004 to 2005.
He was also an Investment Manager at Swiss Capital Group, Zurich from 2000 to 2004.
Dr. Köppel studied Mechanical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and completed a doctoral thesis in mathematical modeling of time-resolved data.
He is also a graduate of the General Management Program of Harvard Business School.
Dr. Köppel is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
