Pascal Pierra

Mr. Pascal Pierra founded the Private Equity Department of Proparco, the private sector subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
He was Head of Private Equity at Proparco for over seven years and co-manager of Averroes Finance, the first fund of funds dedicated to emerging markets and MENA countries.
Prior to Proparco, Pascal worked in investment banking and private equity with firms such as Fidelity Investments, Banque Paribas and Harwanne -Nord Est in Europe and emerging markets for over 10 years.
Mr. Pierra holds a Master in Business Administration from USC and Masters in Economics and Management from Poitiers and EM Lyon.
He has also taught financial valuation courses at ESCP-EAP
