Paul K. Whelton

Paul K.
Whelton is President and Chief Executive Officer of Loyola University Health System.
He is President, Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Health Sciences Loyola University of Chicago.
Dr. Whelton joined Loyola University Health System in February, 2007.
Previously, he held various positions at Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine and Niehoff School of Nursing.
Before that, he was Senior Vice President for Health Sciences at Tulane University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Whelton was Dean of the Tulane University School of Medicine.
He was Faculty Tulane University and Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Whelton received a degree in Medicine from the National University of Ireland, University College Cork, and a Master's of Science degree in Epidemiology from the University of London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
