Peter Edwards

Mr. Edwards began his career with the Wall Street law firm of Dewey Ballantine and moved to Denver four years later to become Senior In-House Counsel to Jones Intercable, Inc., a publicly held cable systems operator, where he served on the board of directors and oversaw the company's legal affairs.
In 1985 he joined Rothgerber, Appel, Powers & Johnson (now Rothgerber, Johnson & Lyons), a large regional law firm based in Denver, and later became a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Mr. Edwards was Altira Group's general counsel from 1996 to 1998, when he left his law practice to become a partner at Altira.
He has also served as counsel and strategic advisor to several large technology companies, including Storage Technology Corporation of Broomfield, Colorado, and internationally-known medical devise manufacturers Telectronics, Inc. (since sold to St. Jude Medical) and Cochlear Limited (publicly traded in Australia).
Mr. Edwards has also served as a director of Front Range Educational Media, Inc. (Channel 12, Denver ), Cochlear Corporation and Jones Intercable, Inc. Mr. Edwards received degrees with honors in law (JD) and business administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan.
