Peter Trinkl

Mr. Peter Trinkl , Venture Advisor, joined the Earlybird advisory team in 2009.
He has over 15 years of experience in mobile and broadband communication, internet and mobile value added services and digital tv.
Currently he lives and works as a management consultant and interim manager in Switzerland.
Prior to that he was Chief Strategy Officer at Swisscom Mobile AG and Swisscom Participations, where he was in charge of acquisition and business development for the extended value chain.
He was a board member and an Executive Director at the portfolio companies.
Until then he was on the executive board of Orange Communications SA in Lausanne, responsible for Corporate Development.
Prior to that Mr. Trinkl headed-up the business segment planning of Cablecom group, being responsible for the conversion from a CATV provider to a telecommunication provider.
In addition he managed the international consulting activities of Cablecom group.
Previously he was leader of Service Integration and Systems Engineering at the multimedia project "InfoCity NRW" at o.tel.o/TeleColumbus, the CATV department of e.on AG.
At Siemens he directed the multimedia and video on demand in Germany and the United States, where he began his career as a development engineer telecommunication technology.
Mr. Trinkl studied electrical engineering and technical informatics at the Technical University Munich and currently writes his PhD with focus on economics and technical innovation.
