Piotr Czarnecki

Mr. Piotr Czarnecki is President of the Management Board at Raiffeisen Bank Polska SA. He is on the Board of Directors at Raiffeisen-Leasing Polska SA. From 1990 to 1991, Mr. Czarnecki worked as a manager at Polski Bank Rozwoju S.A. (the Polish Development Bank).
Between 1992 and 1993, he was a deputy director of the Credit Department in Kredyt Bank S.A. From 1993 to 1996, he was a management board member and, simultaneously, a director of the Credit and Capital Investment Department in Bank Rolno-Przemyslowy S.A. (later Rabobank Polska S.A.).
From 1996 to 2000, he served as a vice-president of Rabobank Polska S.A. From May 2000 to January 2002, he served as the president of the management board of Getin Service Provider S.A., which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In 2002, he served as the Director General of the Business Client Department at Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. He has also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy S.A. (1996-2000) and Ósmy Narodowy Fundusz Inwestycyjny Octava S.A. (1999–2000).
On 5 March 2003, he was appointed the President of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A. Mr. Czarnecki graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, where he obtained a Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology in industry organisation and management from the Industry Organisation and Management division.
He completed postgraduate studies at Harvard University in the scope of management and investment evaluation as well as the Columbia Senior Executive Program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
He has participated in numerous national and foreign management and banking courses organised by, among others, the Harvard Business School, the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (USA), and Nijenrode University (the Netherlands).
