Mr. Richard J.
Samuel is an Executive Director & Senior Research Analyst at Alcentra Ltd.
He joined Alcentra in 2003 and focuses on a number of industries including chemicals, energy, oil and gas and diversified industrials.
He is also a member of the European Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Alcentra, he spent three years as a Senior Analyst for the CDO operations of Intermediate Capital Group.
Between 1995 to 2000, he worked at Deutsche Bank as a Vice President and Senior Credit Officer of the leveraged finance team.
He started his career at Toronto Dominion Bank in Canada between 1990 to 1992 as a Commercial Account Manager and worked at ING Barings between 1993 to 1995 in a variety of roles including Senior Credit Officer and Corporate Dealer.
Mr. Samuel graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Toronto.
