Mr. Thomson is Founder and Managing Partner of Airdrie Partners, LLC, a New York-based investment manager to private equity funds focused on middle market growth equity, where he oversees all aspects of the firm.
Prior to Airdrie Partners, LLC, Mr. Thomson was at Vision Capital Advisors, LLC where he served on multiple portfolio company boards and played an active role in the portfolio formation.
Prior to Vision Capital Advisors, LLC, Mr. Thomson was a Managing Director of The Arkin Group LLC, an international business intelligence firm specializing in providing due diligence to Fortune 500 companies and asset managers where he led teams performing complex due diligence for major transactions world-wide.
Mr. Thomson holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Haverford College.
Mr. Thomson also studied at Nankai University in China and Tunghai University in Taiwan.
Mr. Thomson currently serves on the Board of various Airdrie fund portfolio companies, as well as the Board of Teleios Global Opportunities Fund, Ltd., an unaffiliated European focused activist fund.
