Robert John Doughton

Mr. Robert J.
Doughton is a Senior Investment Director at Investec Wealth & Investment Ltd.
He leads a team of three investment specialists who manage assets for a wide range of clients including private individuals, personal pension schemes, off-shore bonds, charities and some company accounts.
A large part of his business comes via referrals from highly experienced independent financial advisers.
Mr. Doughton's career in investment management began in the City in 1972, and he became a member of the Stock Exchange in the early 1980s.
He was an Executive Director of Christows, which became Williams de Broe (now Investec Wealth & Investment), where he was head of both the Exeter and London offices.
He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
