Gullason, CFA, is an Associate Portfolio Manager & Lead Strategist at The Harbour Group (Canada).
He joined The Harbour Group as Lead Strategist in 2011 and brings with him nearly 15 years of experience at RBC.
His focus is on macro investment strategy and market commentary.
He works with the Advisors to provide clients with guidance on asset allocation and sector views along with an outlook on currencies and interest rates.
After joining RBC as a member of the firm's highly regarded Generalist Program, he gained experience in the equity portfolio advisory group and with RBC Asset Management's portfolio managers.
He spent the past seven years in progressively senior roles on the RBC bond desk and was managing the group at the time of his departure.
On the bond desk, he specialized in the analysis of interest rates, corporate bonds and preferred shares.
He is a member of the RBC Wealth Management Global Portfolio Advisory Committee, which publishes a monthly portfolio strategy document with a global investment focus.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and is a CFA charter holder
