Ron Hymers

Ron Hymers is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Capital Markets with MNP Corporate Finance Inc. With more than 30 years of experience, Ron is a recognized authority in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and financial transactions.
He is responsible for driving MNP’s corporate finance team toward continued growth and a pre-eminent position in the Canadian market.
Ron has an enviable track record structuring and negotiating financing for clients, as well as sourcing and closing transactions with banks, term lenders, mezzanine debt and equity funding for mid-market clients across Canada.
Prior to joining MNP, he held a variety of high-profile positions in the domestic and international banking and insurance industries.
He also played a key role in establishing the Western Canadian corporate finance practices of two international accounting firms.
Originally from Vancouver, Ron graduated from the University of British Columbia and later completed his MBA at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
