His primary responsibility involves assisting in the management of the venture capital portfolio, specifically with the sourcing of and investing in venture capital funds.
Background
Prior to joining OMERS, Mr. Hurley worked at EdgeStone Capital Partners where he was primarily involved with the initial screening and due diligence on numerous venture fund investments and the portfolio management of approximately $300MM in partnership commitments.
Previously, Mr. Hurley worked in the investment banking group of a boutique securities dealer where he was involved in a variety of equity offerings and corporate finance assignments.
