Mr. Denton joined Transition Capital Partners in April 2007.
Prior to TCP, he was an Associate investment banker in the New York Financial Sponsor Group of Banc of America Securities, the global capital markets and investment banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corp.
Previously, Mr. Denton practiced law as an Associate in the London and New York offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
He trained in Corporate, Banking, Project Finance, Restructuring and Dispute Resolution teams.
Upon qualification as a Solicitor, Mr. Denton practiced in Freshfields’ London Banking department, where he advised banks, corporations and private equity investors on all aspects of lending and other banking transactions, with particular focus on leveraged acquisition finance.
Mr. Denton is a dual national of the U.S.A.
and the UK and spent over twenty years living in London, England.
He holds an M.A.
in Economics and Law at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law in London.
He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 2002.
