Wolfgang Hültner

Mr Hültner, Chief Executive Officer, The Americas, is responsible for all US based Mandarin Oriental hotel operations.
Wolfgang Hültner, Chief Executive Officer of Mandarin Oriental Management, The Americas, Inc., is responsible for all Mandarin Oriental hotel operations based in the Americas.
He also provides direction for the development team in acquiring new hotels and resorts within the Americas, and assists the project management team with new properties under construction.
Mr Hültner oversaw the openings of Mandarin Oriental, New York, Washington D.C.
and Miami, playing an integral role in ensuring their success as among the most well-recognised hotels in the North America.
Prior to his appointment as CEO of the Americas in 1999, Mr Hültner held a variety of management positions during his 27 year tenure with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
These include General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Manila, and Resident Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.
Before joining Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, he spent six years in South Africa and seven years in Europe with various hotel companies.
An Austrian citizen, Mr Hültner attended hotel school in Europe.
He is a graduate of Business Executive programs at Harvard and Stanford Universities.
