Zaidi Sattar

Zaidi Sattar is the founder and current Chairman of the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh.
He is currently an Independent Director at Asia Insurance Ltd., Director at Industrial & Infrastructure Development Finance Bank Co. Ltd., Director at Southeast Bank Foundation, Director at Venture Investment Partners Bangladesh Ltd., Lecturer at the University of Dhaka, Member of The American Alumni Association, and Member of Bangladesh Economic Association.
He previously served as an Independent & Depositor Director at Southeast Bank Plc, Independent Director at Bay Leasing & Investment Ltd., Associate Professor at The Catholic University of America, and Member of the Civil Service of Pakistan.
He was also the Vice Chancellor of Millennium University from 2007 to 2008.
Dr. Sattar holds a graduate degree from Boston University, a doctorate from Boston University, an undergraduate degree from the University of Dhaka, and a graduate degree from the University of Karachi.
He founded the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh in 2008.
