Arthur is Executive President of Cathay Capital.
In this role, he presides over the global management and evolution of the firm while exploring innovative business opportunities and models that push the boundaries of traditional investment practices and brings greater value to entrepreneurs, investors, management teams, partners and all in the Cathay ecosystem.
Arthur has also been a member of Tencent Holdings’ executive team since 2008.
As Senior Management Advisor, he played a key role in enhancing organizational innovation, business transformation and leadership development in Tencent's last decade of rapid growth.
He built and led the “Tencent Consult” team that organizes insight sharing forums among CEOs and offers consulting services for key strategic partners.
He also serves as Dean of TencentX, offering integrated learning programs for 300+ CEOs within the ecosystem.
Arthur also served as Chief HR Officer for the Acer Group from 1998 to 2002, working closely with top management to radically transform the company.
Arthur taught at the University of Michigan Business School and China Europe International Business School.
He is the author of numerous articles and dozens of books on organizational transformation, including best-selling management books such as “Reinventing the Organization” (Harvard Business Review Press), “Building Organizational Capability”, and “DNA of Transformation.”
